Gogogu (meaning "dry" in Oromiffa) is the name for the principal mountain closest to the town of Dida Haro Hada Raro, where most of the producers of this lot either reside or, clearly, deliver their coffee. The greater region of Uraga in Guji Zone are perhaps more familiar titles, if a land is mapped for coffee only. This lot is a spot purchase in a year further complicated by USA's tariffs. So it is both more expensive and likely the only Ethiopian we'll see this year. But, having said all that, it's a good one. Citrus flower, jasmine, Darjeeling tea, light bodied.
