We didn't source this coffee in any romanticized way: it was offered as a two bag throw-in on some coffees moving from the warehouse. No coffee safari, with hats. But it's delicious and it's our only Kenyan offering for the year. Drink up.

This multi-variety lot is named after the Gititu washing station in Kiambu province, where multiple small hold farmers deliver their coffees for processing. Familiar, prized Kenyan varieties like SL28 & 34 are pooled with the increasingly necessary Batian & Ruiru 11 varieties. The cup character is familiar: hibiscus, cassis, pomegranate molasses, white peach...
This coffee will be gone soon.
