The g word. The Moreno family are beginning to see some return on their attempt at vertical market access via the fashionable geisha variety. It is not a seamless transition as the plant takes some years to get established, produce significant harvestable volume and mature to a point where it may show the character and cup quality it is prized for. This is our third year with Orlando's geisha, though first with more than a few bags, and it is getting its first turn on the offer sheet. With heightened yet unreasonable consumer expectations at the mention of geisha, there comes pressure to unveil a coffee with the aplomb and hype of algorithmic forecasting. So, we're happy to say this one hits. Honeydew, blood orange, custard. Honey processed heft made buoyant by geisha's acidity paired with the demonstrable processing capabilities of the Morenos' cumulative experience and expertise. Get it while it's here.
