Our 3rd Peruvian coffee of the season is from Esther Fernandez in Colasay. This is our 5th year buying from Esther, auntie to Yonal Fernandez - whose spouse is Imelda Villalobos, whose coffee we just featured. Got all that? Similar to the Padilla family in La Coipa, we are concentrating our buying volume with extended families. Juicy, clean, delicious, 100% bourbon variety. Pulped, washed and dried on raised beds at the farm. This coffee is gorgeous. Subdued citrus and stone fruit, complex and delicate.
